This is confusing. So I can trade-in a Nexus 7 tablet and get the $350 credit applied?

Edit: Prepare for tears, y'all. This is going to be a mess.

Friendly advice: If you're interested in any of these tablets…just go buy them outright without the hoops & games. Samsung either has so much customer volume that they don't care about the complaints or they just flat-out don't care about their individual customers. Based on the many deals prior this year: a small percentage may score this, but there are a lot of variables working against you (1.They Cancel your initial order / 2. cancel your trade-in from a litany of arbitrary reasons and bill you the $350 TIV / 3. make you wait over the tight 2-week return window to verify/appraise your trade-in…just to name a few) and their call centres are HORRENDOUSLY DIFFICULT and time-intensive to deal with when there are issues. People have even had their money in limbo for weeks to months (without using CC chargeback) in hopes of getting their orders fulfilled amidst weeks of shipping delay after delay after delay…

This is the text from my return label email. It just says "tablet". Do they all say just that or do some actually mention the actual device you said you'll trade in when you placed the order?? I want to change my trade in device from Lenovo to something else. My order was placed at 1am edt on Saturday morning. Might be before they changed much of the verbiage of the deal later on Saturday.

Should I power my trade in device off? I'm gonna charge it to 100% but scared what if they open it, 1) assume it's dead 2) if I keep it on and it takes days to shipped. The battery is down close to zero.

I ordered a 128GB S7+ WiFI in Mystic Navy and used my 2016 GalaxyTab as the trade. Got my receipt with the $350 deducted and my card has been charged. Had to have it delivered because apparently none of the Best Buy's in my area or anywhere else in Kansas City are participating. Not a big deal but I thought it was a little weird.
I also opted for the text message shipping updates and got the confirmation for that on my phone. It's still on track to be here Nov.10 w/Galaxy Buds. AS much as I love my S6 and use the hell out of it, I'll appreciate the large OLED screen and some of my regular apps running a little better & my wife will appreciate the larger screen & bigger SPen, as her only tablet has been a Galaxy 20.
So far, so good!

Picked up S7 with buds yesterday at BB. Shipped Nexus 9 in good condition. Should arrive by Wednesday. Hopefully gives enough time.

Also talked to the BB associate, he said if you are picking up from BB store it comes under their return program which is 16th Jan or something.

Charge it up and turn it off. Like you said u don't want to risk it running out of battery upon arrival. I usually record a video of me resetting the device, showing the IMEI and serial #, turning on and off to proof it does work. Then package it and ship it off.

Very disappointed with the S7 FE. In 2021 (and from Samsung) I expected a great display. It was a disappointment the moment I turned it on with huge off-axis dimming. Even the slightest tilt and the brightness and contrast decrease. I turned up the brightness to help overcome it, but then it's too bright.

Will definitely return to BB, but while I'm there, I'll check out their display model to see if it has the same issue. For an almost $600 tablet, this is unacceptable. Maybe on a $100 Fire Tablet, not on a Samsung.

Anyone else who picked up their S7 FE see the same thing?
