No .. I already pickup mines yesterday
Me too. The deal was a snafu of sorts for them, and they have to deal with that aspect. But don't expect billing not to catch up. . .and they don't have to do it today or tomorrow. You agreed to pay what $75 for a base FE, or $149 for a base S7, etc. etc. . .I would be more worried about not your trade in device's eligibility, but rather it's ability to toe the line and pass the required condition. . . and be the exact model (Samsung or Apple) or brand you specified at time of purchase. . .

The 2gb is not that necessary. I have 6gb, am a heavy multitasker, and it always has 1.7ish free. Nothing is getting killed for lack of ram and wont be for a long time.
There's a reason the Samsung Galaxy s20 doesn't come with anything less than 8gb of ram. The other iterations are 12gb and 16gb of ram. And that's just for a cell phone. Your tablet should have more ram than your phone, but you do you.

TBH, 12 and 16GB on a phone is overkill, and I have a phone with 12GB (Note 10+). Unless you dock your phone/tablet to an external display and do heavy multi tasking, you will be perfectly fine with 6GB. There are plenty of laptops that come with 8GB and are fine for everyday tasks. 16GB is still considered enough even for mid to high end laptops. How much RAM you needs depends on how you use your phone or tablets, and for the usual tasks like media consumption, light gaming, web browsing, 6GB is fine. Yes, more would be better and will make your device a bit more future proof, but just the fact that many phones come with more RAM doesn't mean that you must have it on your tablet. Android phones tend to over use RAM as a marketing gimmick. I'm not an Apple user, but even their top of the line iPhone 13 Pro Max only has 6GB RAM.

From an architectural standpoint, RAM is just a fast scratch space (like "working memory" for a human). There are technical reasons for more RAM, for certain applications (such as video editing, keeping lots of tabs alive, or file caching), but if your applications don't fill it (which you can check by profiling), then the extra memory is doing nothing. Some extra buffer is nice, but whether you have a 6GB or 8GB phone or tablet, the current usage tends to max out at 4.5GB, so there is no reason to panic/complain about "only 6GB" now and probably for several years to come.

As for 10, 12, 16GB and above, big specs sell premium phones. It doesn't really help for future proofing either as your SoC processor (865+ in the S7 series) will become outdated, compared to newer models (like the 888/895 or A15), far sooner than when application developers figure out a meaningful way to fill 8GB on a phone.

If you have such demanding workloads that your tablet computing needs exceed your premium phone, then this is not the tablet for you anyway as the current Snapdragon 888 phones are already a processor generation ahead, and the next generation is supposedly a month away.

I'm trying to stay optimistic with this deal and searching for keyboard covers for the S7 FE. Anyone have any suggestions/deals? Does the S7 keyboard cover work with S7 FE?

They just canceled my order. Was "processing" for two days and then I got a notice this morning. It said my order was canceled because I didn't pick up the items. Lol. Oh well...

Based on my past experience, if samsung cancels your order, you can ask them to redo the order IF the item is still in stock at samsung.com , last time i did this and they will also honor the price as well, the difference will be refunded. Not sure how they are going to handle the trade in though cause last time I didn't do trade in.

I am sending my old tablet in today for the FE I already picked up. When I selected the trade-in I chose Galaxy Tab A 10.1 2016.

Question for you guys. When I start up the tablet on the loading screen it has a title of Galaxy A6, but under settings the name is Galaxy A (2016). It is SM-T580 model.

Do you think Samsung will give me a hard time because it is A6 version?

If you have to do it for the phones, I'd do it for the trade in tablet too if you still have it. The risk for having a 'spare' pen is on you.
I talked to a Rep the other day and they said, in my case with a tablet trade-in, that they don't need the box, charger or the S-pen. They only want my old tablet factory reset, no cracks, and can hold a charge.
Anyways, I'm not holding my breath for this deal even though on Ra..k.ten where I did a cashback link, said at that time this deal was "sales/clearance." So you never know. So far the Samsung Rep recognized the order, my credit card went from "Pending a day ago to Charged," and Ra..k.ten gave me cash back.

I used Apple Pay, doubt they can charge on top via that.
