This is confusing. So I can trade-in a Nexus 7 tablet and get the $350 credit applied?

Edit: Prepare for tears, y'all. This is going to be a mess.

Friendly advice: If you're interested in any of these tablets…just go buy them outright without the hoops & games. Samsung either has so much customer volume that they don't care about the complaints or they just flat-out don't care about their individual customers. Based on the many deals prior this year: a small percentage may score this, but there are a lot of variables working against you (1.They Cancel your initial order / 2. cancel your trade-in from a litany of arbitrary reasons and bill you the $350 TIV / 3. make you wait over the tight 2-week return window to verify/appraise your trade-in…just to name a few) and their call centres are HORRENDOUSLY DIFFICULT and time-intensive to deal with when there are issues. People have even had their money in limbo for weeks to months (without using CC chargeback) in hopes of getting their orders fulfilled amidst weeks of shipping delay after delay after delay…

Note: they mention they can even remotely disable your device (!!!) if they feel you haven't kept up your end of the deal with a proper trade-in.

I just did that as well. cancelled paypal access for future payments to sammy. if they mess up my trade in and want to remote disable the tab.. thats ok. I don't want to pay 350 more for FE.

I ordered about an hour after this was posted. 256GB Mystic Black. It was pushed back to 11/24 initially, expecting it to get cancelled. Just got notice the tablet and buds have shipped, expected for 11/10. I'm shocked honestly. Hopefully trade-in goes well.. Pray

If you think more RAM is a marketing gimmick, and you list an iPhone as your example, probably because you couldn't use the iPad pro for a more accurate 'Apple to apples' comparison because that iPad pro comes with either 8gb or 16gb of ram. I've been using my tab s6 tablets for over two years and I sure do benefit from the extra ram. In the end, buy what you want and enjoy your day.

My PayPal payment went through and it's in my chase account now. But they didn't ship the tablet yet…

Also, rumors are saying the galaxy tab s8 series is going to be out. The next gen of this tablet. Samsung is even preparing a 14.6 inch tablet with thin bezel and a notch on the side called S8 ultra. How fun.
