This is confusing. So I can trade-in a Nexus 7 tablet and get the $350 credit applied?

Edit: Prepare for tears, y'all. This is going to be a mess.

Friendly advice: If you're interested in any of these tablets…just go buy them outright without the hoops & games. Samsung either has so much customer volume that they don't care about the complaints or they just flat-out don't care about their individual customers. Based on the many deals prior this year: a small percentage may score this, but there are a lot of variables working against you (1.They Cancel your initial order / 2. cancel your trade-in from a litany of arbitrary reasons and bill you the $350 TIV / 3. make you wait over the tight 2-week return window to verify/appraise your trade-in…just to name a few) and their call centres are HORRENDOUSLY DIFFICULT and time-intensive to deal with when there are issues. People have even had their money in limbo for weeks to months (without using CC chargeback) in hopes of getting their orders fulfilled amidst weeks of shipping delay after delay after delay…

I still haven't received an email with the shipping label to send in my trade in. I'm afraid to contact customer service because, typically, CS jank my orders more often then they resolve problems. If nothing is wrong I don't want stir things.

Does anyone have some insight for me? (and others, I'm sure there are others in same spot)

I picked up my order from Best Buy the next day (Saturday). Got/printed my label for the trade-in. Crossing my fingers they don't pull anything shady. If they do, I plan to attempt a forced return OR call my card and reverse the charge.

I purchased 2 tablets on the same order (only got free buds on one) the issue is that they only sent one prepaid label for the trade in, they were supposed to send 2.

I called samsung and the rep said to just send both iphone 6S trade ins in the same box and that she would leave notes on the account in case there were any problems, not sure if I trust that, asked her to just send a second label and she said they can't.

Not sure how to proceed from here, any ideas?.

Thanks for the tip. Just picked one up from Wal Mart. Glad as I didn't want to have to scrutinize the local used sub $50 market which was looking pretty beat up. And I could even possibly return it to wally world if this trade goes south.
Charging it up fully then off to Fedex. Crazy paying more for a brand new trade in donor than the tablet and buds I wanted cost in the end. . .

On same boat, the answer is no. You won't able to change your trade in order. Even though Pixel 3 is not the cheapest, is not that bad. Picked one up around $100 at Ebay.

If it were me, I'd return one of the tablets. Just seems like too much risk.

Hate to ask questions that probably are answered in the thread but how do you arrange a pick up at best buy? (Went through about 20 pages on my phone and couldn't find info).

Doesn't prove anything though. Not they would, but they could argue that you didn't package it properly and whatever reason it's not working is because of that.
