Looks like this TV was $199 on 3/23/2020 and $209 on 4/20/2020.

The world was different in April 2020. I've been waiting for a nice deal to upgrade to 65" for around $250 or less but that was last Black Friday and I doubt we'll see that again

Target recently had an Element 65" for $300 last week. Deal is dead though.

I would think the TCL 50" in their Black Friday deals section would be a better buy. It's more money but it's also QLED.

If you look at the TVs in the Black Friday deals, there are several that seem to have regular pricing. I'm wondering if some of those TVs will eventually be marked as Black Friday deals and be priced accordingly... anyone here from Walmart in the know? Wink

The deal pricing isn't active yet. Cross-reference with the digital flyer and you'll notice that virtually nothing in the "live previews" matches the price in the ad.

Either you didn't understand my question or I didn't ask it correctly. In any case, I don't understand your reply. It's all moot now as the 50" TCL is now back to regular pricing. I don't know if that was a temporary glitch but the 50S535 was $50 dollars higher than the Sceptre just before I posted.

Many of the items listed in Black Friday deals are NOT actively on sale yet. E.g., the next wave starts 11/10 online and 11/12 in store. They're listed as Black Friday deals but the deal pricing is NOT listed on those items if you're browsing the website/app. If you view the Black Friday flyer, you will see many of them listed with the Black Friday deal price, not the price currently listed. So yes, those items that are in Black Friday deals but are NOT marked down yet WILL be marked down...on 11/10 or after. Got it?

And it's dead back at $308.

They had some mispricings yesterday

Tcl yesterday was better deal but didn't see that one 250s a fair price for this tv even if it's 4 years old, and has been 25% cheaper in the past.

Tried buying used and everyone's trying to get like 150-225 for their 10 year old 50" tvs right now at least locally.

It's too bad this deal was never posted on here when it went live. It was active last week at the same time as the TCL 55" for $228, and was marked as a Black Friday item. While spec-wise its not as big of a deal as the TCL @ $228, this TV for $248 was still a decent deal. The actual model is U515CV-UMRD and looks like it was released in early 2020, so its only a 1.5 year old TV. I grabbed one during the deal since all the TCLs online were bought up during the 4 hour "members only" window, and all my stores showed out of stock rather quick once it became an in-store deal. I'm not upset though, it's actually a nice TV for the price, and I already had a Roku to go with it. Plus no other TVs in this size & 4k for this low of price.

Give it time though, this TV apparently goes up and down in price every so often. I saw mention that it was around $200 back in June.
