Anyways.
5500U is older Zen 2 architecture, soldered 4GB+4GB of ram is terrible as it will screw up dual channel if you upgrade the ram, and 256GB is pretty poor. Not a great deal imo.
But with that said, fyi the best laptop deal at Walmart last BF was HP with 4500u (think last year's version of 2021 5500u), with 512gb ssd (double this one), 8gb ram (same), IPS (better than this TN) for $379. That was a great deal and my son still loves it.
This is a decent deal (especially since I'm expecting this year's BF to be weaker) but just wanted to keep you aware. I'm also looking for another similar spec laptop and plan on holding for now... even though this is tempting.
