I've had 2 optomitrists refuse to give me that info because they knew what I was doing with the info instead of buying an identical pair from their shop for $300+. Costco vision center has a machine they pop in front of your eyes for 2 seconds and they give you the pupil distance. Didn't have to be a member, sign anything, or pay for anything.

I've been ordering glasses from Goggles4u for like a decade (five or six pairs per year because they're so darn cheap with promo codes working all the time). I've also ordered from Zenni. This year, I tried KITS when I needed glasses quickly and I'm very happy. Quality on the two pairs I've ordered has been noticeably higher than Goggles4u.

I ordered with anti-glare coating and it came to about $20 shipped. My first order arrived two days after placing it. Second order took 3 or 4 days. Around the time of the second order I also placed an order with Goggles4u (I like having a few pairs and the cost is prescription sunglasses is far more expensive with KITS since you can pretty much always use a 70% off code at Goggles4u). The glasses I ordered from Goggles4u took more than a month to arrive this last time.

Anyway, what I'm saying is that I'm a happy customer of a competitor and I'd still recommend KITS and buy from them again. I would note though that this code is on all the time, so this isn't a new deal or one you can't always get.

Yeah, I did that and then noticed in the order confirmation - verify prescription by phone and then in the email it states they'd contact my doctor about my prescription and to make sure my prescription is accurate because doctors don't always pick up the phone. Not sure if that's some sort of legal thing they just have to state or what.

It looks like -10 diopters is the max for nearsightedness. They directed me to acetate frames vs metal to hide the edge thickness. Price was $59 with free shipping using FREEKITS, which seems like a great deal with your prescription, ultra thin lenses, and AR /UV/anti-scratch coatings.

Every time I go for these glasses, I get charged full price even though Paypal shows the discounted price. I then have to call and get a refund. I don't know what's going on. First time I called KITS. 2nd time PayPal refunded because they never disputed my claim.

Maybe because of this? It seems like it should be one per person not per household.

If you don't mind me asking, what sites? My script is expired & I don't love going to doctor. Eyes have been the same forever. But need new glasses.
39dollarglasses. I just wanted lenses and sent in my own frames. $70 took a week. Includes AR. Didn't ask for a prescription though I had one.

I ordered from Kits the last time they had this deal and I was pleasantly surprised. The lenses seem comparable to what my optometrist sold me. The frames feel a little heavier and bulkier though.

Complain to your state. Most require them to provide the results if you paid for the exam (even with insurance, you "paid"). I told my doc what I was doing and in one case paid for the frames (through insurance) and ordered special lenses that cost me $330 through a website but would have been over $500 through him. I hoped he'd match but he said he couldn't even with my insurance. I then returned with the lenses and he a) confirmed I got what I paid for and b) he adjusted them. He's a real professional who I'd recommend.
