Best version of the non-expandable Powerblocks imo.

Aside from the fisher price color theme, it beats the other/newer 50lb non-expandable version that doesn't come with 2.5lb increment adder weights.

But I've come to the belief that I may be the minority who likes the 2.5lb increment functionality. Lol hell I don't even use it 90% of the time on my own Powerblocks.

You can buy these to replace the 18 or 20 whatever number of pairs of dumbells it replaces upto 50lb and then just buy cast iron/rubber hex dumbells for huge weights. Buying these doesn't mean you now cannot buy traditional dumbells anymore.

These non-expandable ones go on sale from woot pretty regularly.

Not expandable, but nice set.

I prefer the sport set since it has more room to reach in and more room inside, but if you want a set with the ability to change at a low increment, these are great.

out of all the exercises you guys ever do with dumbells, the 50lb max without expansion isn't going to hold you back?

Oh I see that now in the "From the Manufacturer" section. The product description says in multiple places that it is not expandable and confirmed from reviews/answers. I think that one section is wrong about it being expandable.
