Free installation won't include transformer replacement (if needed), that's a separate service which is 49.99 installed. This one requires that you have an existing doorbell wired in your home. Doorbell will ring your indoor chime but it can be disabled via nest app if you prefer to just use app and/or smart speakers to announce. Really nice if you have more than 1 doorbell as it announces which doorbell is "ringing". Can also set quiet times for kids naptime or if you're doing video meetings.
The Nest subscription is $60 or $120 if paid annually, both of which include all nest cameras not per cam. $60 includes 30 day event history, familiar faces and zones to prevent alerts. $120 adds another 30 day history and 10 days of 24/7 history. Without subscription you can look back 3 hours only.
The OnTech + membership is good for a year and doesn't auto renew. It includes 10% off products and 10-20% off installation. Return window is increased to 60 days. The OnTech Smart Support app gives you unlimited tech support via call (US based) or chat and through handy how-to guides.
So I actually opted out of the free installation as it looked to be a month out in my area and It should be simple. It also said if you do need a transformer for it to work with your existing chime that they would charge $65 for that (which might be worth it to others, but not me). I also didn't add the google mini so that I could use code "dish10" to get an extra $13.50 off the price of the doorbell. I have 2 unused mini's at the moment anyway.
For anyone do not have an existing doorbell and do not want to add one, you can purchase a power chord for nest doorbell on Amazon, cost around $12 - $15, simply connect it to nest doorbell then plug it into a power outlet, doorbell runs great. Your iPhone, HomePod or other devices will ring the bell. The Nest doorbell itself ring the bell as well, just not as loud as a real doorbell.
Yes it will if you chose to keep your current chime. It makes a noise outside like it's ringing but inside it will keep your current chime. The google mini, when connected can make its own chime so technically you can have 2 chimes inside. For me it was easier I disconnected my basic house chime because the mini will actually say "someone is at your door" with a chime. Of course if your internet is out you get nothing from mini, no recording, and in my case turned off house chime so only have the outside chime.
Do you have anything to back that up? Or are you just saying it to say it?

For wired, this is the new version of Nest Doorbell. The new version is actually a downgrade of the old version which was called Nest Hello cam and had the Nest logo instead of Google logo.
"While the Nest Hello cam offered a 1600 x 1200 HD video resolution at 30 frames per second, the Nest Doorbell drops that down to 960 x 1280. The camera lens itself took a similar hit, dropping from 3 megapixels to 1.3MP. The field of view was also shortened from 160 degrees (diagonal) to 145 degrees."
Will they ship the bell first and technician comes later? As my next schedule showing up after Thanksgiving. So technician bring the bell with him or they will ship it before.
I already have a Skybell installed which has gone bad after like 5-6 years so I just need to pop out the old skybell and install this one, wouldn't take more than 5-10 mins.

It says the tech will bring it with them if you choose pro installation. Mine comes tomorrow. I'll update this thread with how the service goes.
Should we wait for BF deals from other vendors or get this offer?
I don't think you can go wrong with this deal. With or without professional installation it is $133+ tax. Also, as a poster mentioned, you can get a additional 10% off with Dish10 promo code.
The battery cam will go on sale on the Google Store if you're interested in that one. Other places may price match it.

I don't like battery cam, as its not have 24/7 video recording and I have already have wiring.
Finally pulled the trigger as Skybell worked really well for 5 plus years before has gone bad. Anyway, let see..coming and installation tomorrow.

Apparently you can wire the battery cam too. Both seem to have 24/7 recording history, but with their highest monthly subscription of $12. I may be wrong.
But I also pulled the trigger. Let's see how it goes.
