These are Dad Jeans through and through. That's why 38s and 40s are unavailable. I bought a weeks worth the last time these went on sale and would have done so again if my size were in stock. Love me some 541s, especially the stretch version.

Amazon is the cheapest place for Levi's. I check the 541's about once a month and about 1/3 of the time I find a color I like for around $20. Cheapest was $11 and highest I usually pay is $25. I think the algorithms scour the internet and price match by color, not size.
