Bought one of these for my 10yr old son in Sept. It's a little odd to learn and ride. You have to push off like a regular non powered scooter to 3mph for the motor to kick in. Then you press a button that activates the motor. But there is no speed control, only on or off. And it's a little jerky since you can't ease the throttle...since it's either go full power or coast. Not really that great for a kid, which is what it's made for with it's weight limit.

Picked one up for my son. Idk if I'm going to keep it or return it but why not for $70 bucks. If the mrs says no it'll be a return or I'll just put on the Internet and pass the deal to someone looking for a last minute gift. he'll be excited though if she says yes Smilie.

It'll be e waste in a few years. These scooters are all over craigslist. A xiaomi m365 would at least be a practical toy

This is meant for kids. I have a m365, i'm was just looking for something just like this for my 7 year old... and an e waste in few years? if i get 2 years out of this for my son, i'll be very happy

Hopefully they've finally upgraded these to lithium batteries. I think they were the big chunky SLA batteries that never last
