Information for anyone interested, I have this exact item, purchased from walmart probably a year ago. Overall a solid piece of construction, however missing the straight slide due to shipping issue, they were able to resend me the slide when it came in stock but it took a month. Company was easy to work with.

The tube slide is the devil trying to put it together, but after together its honestly great. Kids love it and its been fun. We took 2 days to build the entire project, 2 people recommended mostly just to make it easier.

No issues to note with 1 year of ownership.

Agree about the slide. My advice is to consider leaving the bolts as loose as possible or even use a substitute that is longer temporarily until you get it attached on each side.

Also jobs like these are way easier with nut drivers which help you use mechanic tools on your screw gun. That, and appropriate hexagon bits. Like Handy Manny says you need the right tool for the job. Haha

I also purchased this exact set a few years ago on a similar end of season clearance opportunity. The set itself was broken down into 5 separate shipments, 4 out of the 5 arrived at my house. The one that was missing was the long straight slide. After doing some digging, I was able to discover that the slide was really the only piece of equipment in that box, all other wooden and support components were in other boxes. During my convo with CS they said that they could refund the entire order and that they would come to pick up the other boxes. I declined and asked if they could just send me a slide as a separate order, which they refused. We instead settled on dividing the $800 or so by the 5 boxes and I received a refund of around $160. I then went to Menards and purchased the straight slide for $75 and netted the other $85 off the price.

This set has been a great addition to the backyard and the kids have spent endless hours on it.

Do note the size as this is a 4ft model. My kiddos are 3 and 6 and the 6 year old is getting a bit closer to end of life for the wooden compartment components.

Having built one of these myself, I salute you sir! I do agree with it being a good quality product.
