I don't understand how you guys do it, I just tried a few agents and no luck. So frustrating.
It's probably just random luck. I got a chat agent who first told me that she couldn't do anything at all, since it was a $50 coupon, not a pricematch. I pointed out how I just bought the thing and if there was anything at all she could do... coupon, cashback, whatever.. and she mentioned my only option was a return and rebuy.
And then 2 seconds later she said she could simply give me 10% back on my order if I agreed not to return/rebuy it ... which was fine with me.
So maybe try that route? Sort of casually mention that you are considering returning it, due to the credit difference, which would cost Samsung shipping costs and so on ... so maybe your chat agent will offer you something?
No credit here neither and I received my vacuum end of Nov 2021.
I have still not received my credit. When I chatted with them in December or January, they said they will not go out until the 90 day return period had expired, which they somehow computed to be late March for me. They also took away the extra $25 credit a chat person said I would get. I complained that my order explicitly said the credit would be sent 35 days after delivery of the vac. They didn't care.

Give chat another try, it has been more than 100 days for me since my deliver. I chatted first then followed up a few days later and finally got my code via email after another day.
