Dang, good deal. Prefer them to the Bose 700s (except for microphone quality - the Bose is better in that regard).

If I was in the market for a set of cans, I'd definitely pull the trigger. Of course, my research is outdated by 3 years, but I don't think too much happened in this space since then.

I just got these a few months ago. Fantastic noise cancelling headphones, and this is a great price. Honestly I'm not a huge fan of the sound stage, it's stupidly bass-heavy. By comparison, Bose QC headphones sound a lot more balanced to me. But I'm still very happy with the noise cancellation, which is the primary reason I bought these. I can play with the EQ and live with the extra bass.

One thing to be aware of: the touch controls are unreliable, especially in cold weather. Google it; there are hundreds of complaints on forums from people in cold climates. The controls seem to just stop working if it's freezing out. I haven't experienced it yet, but I'm expecting it to happen to me when it gets cold in NYC. If that happens, I'm okay with just using my phone to control the music.
