i need to redo the floor of my room. Had fake wood/laminate (?) installed. There were a leak when I was on vacation and by the time i got back, the entire floor had swollen up and molding everywhere Frown
after a while, the swelling LMAO went down but floor is now very uneven, especially at the seams where plank edges meet. slowly doing repair process while looking for affordable materials Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

If HD management knew the manager was doing this, more than likely they would be fired. Policy is once the item is marked to to $.01 it is to be disposed of period. I had asked about some plants that were on a cart and was told they couldn't be sold or even given away because they were marked down to $.01. Makes zero sense but is really the only way to control abuse of marked down items. Same reason they did away with employee discounts, too much abuse.

Yep have had that happen as well on a couple things. They have so many associates at the registers standing there it hard to get past them now

They are OOS all around me in Southcentral PA, but looking at this review, I'd think twice about getting one unless thining the paint would work with the sprayer and would address the problem described (without creating others).

Found the last two in my area on Brickseek. Showed up at store opening, searched shelves, found at the back behind the 3500 sprayers, unmarked. I was stopped at self checkout. Manager was called, explained to me that 0.01 shelved goods were marked for recall or disposal and that he couldn't sell me these. But, if they weren't on the shelf then they couldn't be recalled...and handed me one back.

This seems to be very very unlikely.. I went to the same store where it had 3000 for 43 earlier and bought.. I went yesterday And scanned again now the price went back to 169.. so the sale is over..

Can confirm the 0.1 recall BS line. Try to sneak past someone. They will not sell it. I've had luck on a few items.. the last one that they refused to sell me was a smoke detector. It was marked down to 0.1. I went back a few days later and the same item was on the shelf. Same manager stopped me once again at the cashier over ride. I said even if it's recalled, I'll call the mfgr and get a replacement. Then she said it's policy to destroy them... I did get some garden tools for 0.1 and plants.. but the policy is so dumb. I have this sprayer, I've painted the outside of two houses with it. I can confirm it's a pain in the ass to use.. when it works, it's great. YOU MUST READ THE MANUAL and cleanup of the unit I can usually paint in the time it takes to prep and cleanup.
