I wonder if Black Friday will have demons souls for this price at new... GameStop pre owns are a bit hit or miss, GameFly used games are where it's at. I'm debating on this one.

I think it's a fantastic price if you are going to play this now/this year. Don't think it'll get much cheaper on BF. Unfortunately I'm only interested in DS, and I've beaten the original. My bigger issue is a huge backlog, and I can wait until next year. It is a very tempting price though.

Edit: Note. GameStop preowned return policy is 7 days. So if these do go on sale for BF, it'll be too late to return, etc.

Wish they did it like Target so you could get 33% off one or two items instead of having to buy 3. Ended up getting DS, Ratchet and Fifa 22 for $78 + tax. Seems like close if not better than the upcoming BF prices for these.

I bought this, Rift Apart, and Returnal. Between the discounted pre-owned prices and the B2G1 sale, I don't see Black Friday beating these prices. That comes out to under $30 per game.

this is the best price I think I've seen yet!! I wanna play this badly, but after hating Bloodborne 4a few hours, I'm really starting to like it🙄so I have to beat that, Ds3 DLC, finish Horizon zero dawn, second sons & Spider-Man.. Bc I just got a PS so By that time Elden ring & Forbidden West will be poppin' 🤔I want Demons Souls now, but I kno I shouldn't "play into" my video game hoarding. Xbox has crazy back log too.. nah nah stop buying games bruuuh! But I'm saying buy2get1 free😊

Are you at all familiar with the From Software style of telling stories (they use the same methods and their other teams like Bloodborne and the Dark Souls series)? Their style is very indirect and environmentally focused. There's a lot of lore but you'd probably have to be reading a lot of stuff outside of the game to really understand everything that's going on (they essentially structure their games that the community really needs a piece things together, which they have).

I generally appreciate story-based games, that's not why I would play any of the souls games. I play the souls games because I love the challenge, the sense of accomplishment when you finally beat that boss you have been banging your head against, the community, etc.

If you're mostly interested in story based games, I've heard amazing things about the latest Life is Strange: True Colora game (I didn't play LiS2 yet, but their first game was fantastic).

This game is well worth it $35 if you like the genre and/or the DS series. Personally, I paid $50 at launch and felt it was well worth it. It's definitely a trip to see early versions of a lot of the mechanics that would be evolved in the later From games as well as some original mechanics so far unique to DemS.

I don't think we've seen any strong indicators of what last year's PS5 launch games pricing will be for this year's BF. Personally, I expect new will be $40-50 depending on if original prices were $60-70.
