I literally just use the free monthly $5 coupons on eShop or Playstation store currency. Let's me stockpile for a digital purchase vs trying browsing the store to end up buying something I didn't really want. I used to use it on new games but I save $10 buying from physical Walmart stores so opted for the digital currency instead.

Can I buy it online or does it have to be in store ? I am referring to $5 coupon each month

Tried that, two clerks at the store told me the monthly $5 credit can not be used on digital gift cards (I tried to pick up eShop and Steam gift cards).

is there a catch to this? Why is this not being upvoted? Basically u pay 15$ for the first year and get back that 15$ instantly right?

And do the 5$ stack each month?

That's what they say but it works as long as it's for something digital like Nintendo, Playstation, Steam, or Xbox. I don't think it would work on a other gift cards like Amazon or Shell.

$5 do not stack. That is the catch. That's why I just usually use it for an eShop card each month.

Do you just ask the clerks to ring up the $5 codes? Never seen them before on the walls, so I'm assuming that's the case?

Yes sometimes they say they can't but it depends on the employees. I settle for the $10 card if they insist they can't do it and it's already the end of the month

The monthly credit is in-store only, says so on the redemption code.
