Anyone else notice Walmart is still selling this TV for $398?

Anyone messed with the EPS (expert picture settings) to dial in the skin tones with the 11 point white balance adjustments? (I had to get an android device and load an older version of the Roku mobile app version 6.3 to get to the EPS, as it doesn't work with the latest version 8.x).

anyone using a soundbar with HDMI ARC?

I just got the vizio surround sound set from WM, and while it sounds good and i can control volume/mute, it doesn't seem to power on properly.

Specifically, powering off turns off the soundbar, however turning the tv on does not start the soundbar until i select a TV input. opening an app (Plex, Hulu, netflix, etc.) will just leave the soundbar off indefinitely. If instead, I open an HDMI input (even one with nothing connected) it instantly turns on the soundbar.

I assume this is a TV issue, is that right?

Giving the TV time, we noticed really no difference and don't use this for gaming where the 120hz would have an impact.

Just hung the 70" on Saturday and wanted to share this mount is fantastic! Just use the short M6 screws for the back of the TV for the 'rail hooks' and you are good to go. Very sturdy bracket!

To the posters saying the TV is ok or "meh" and they were thinking about returning it: take the plastic film off the screen. I thought there was just plastic around the frame, but there is also a film over the whole screen. I watched the TV before removing it and HDR was just ok in bright scenes and too dark in dark scenes. A+ TV after removing the plastic film. Very happy with purchase.

I had thought I somehow scratched the screen while orienting it to hang on the wall (o a soft blanket) when I noticed some imperfections in the screen. I then noticed the plastic film and was relieved it was just some scuff marks on the plastic to peel off. Glad that was on there. I wonder how many people don't realize there is a plastic film to peel off the entire surface of the screen.

So I noticed this TV model has a greenish hue in the flesh tones that didn't go away when fiddling with the green/red tint adjustment in the "Fine Tune Picture" submenu in settings.

So I read about the Roku Expert Picture Settings, which allows the user to adjust the reds, greens and blues for 11 sets of white balance points (5% 10% 20% 30% 40% 50% 60% 70% 80% 90% 100%). This can be only accessed on older versions of the Roku TV app for Android (not iOS), and you have to install version 6.x (not the newer version 8.x), I might have installed the earlier version of 6.3, there are 2 versions online for 6.3.x. I'll leave it up to the gentle reader to google to find and install the older version if you want to access the Roku Expert Picture Settings. (I ended up buying a cheap Android tablet to install the Roku TV app, since I can't install the older version on my iPhone or iPad).

After experimenting with changes, and also comparing to a nominally calibrated laptop monitor (I have no TV calibration tools of the trade, simply eye-balling things), I ended up with these values that might also help you get rid of the greenish hues in flesh tones for this particular TV model, though YMMV, and you may have a different situation if flesh tones aren't looking normal to your eyes.

If you like these changes, you'll have to enter these WB values for each of the different Picture Modes (Lower Power, Movie, Normal, Sports, Vivid) under the Roku Expert Picture Settings, otherwise, the changes will only hold for the current picture mode selected as you make the changes.

I zeroed out all of the other TV settings to keep things vanilla (selected "Normal" for picture mode, color temperature, and centered the settings for the fine tune picture settings like color, tint, brightness to midpoint or 50, later on afterwards, I ended boosting brightness to 56, lowered color to 46, sharpness to 30).

Again, just food for thought in case your TV also has greenish hues in the flesh tones, but the changes may need to deviate depending on your particular TV set. I just experimented until I got something that was close to usual flesh tones, but each TV channel has inconsistent flesh tones, so eyeball it with some of your favorite TV channels, or other inputs for streamed content or DVD/BD/UHD discs. And once you get something you like visually with the flesh tones, don't be afraid to adjust the tint (Red/Green) a little bit when you view other TV channels in the future, but move it back to zero for your usual channels/content.

Originally I thought I only needed to adjust the green value for the white balance (WB) points, but after comparing the blues, I noticed the blues were too strong as well, and blues don't easily show up in flesh tones, but once I back down the levels for the blues, the overall flesh tones looked better as well. You may still think it's a little too green with the values I ended up with, so feel free to experiment and change them until things look good. Also, you can always reset the RGB values for the 11 sets of WB points back to zeros with the "Rest White Balance Values" button in the Roku app under the Expert Picture Settings.

Again, totally a YMMV if you think your TV set also has less-than-stellar flesh tones. Be sure to record your current TV settings before making changes, so you can at least get back to your original starting point before fiddling with the TV settings.

This happened to me even though I said I was going to pick up but someone from Door dash called told me the Tv was too large for her car. Next thing I see my order was delivered. A 70 inch TV AND NO ACCOUNTABILITY? WTF. WM customer service said they'd refund but have not seen refund. What did you do?
