I am professional audio and video specialist. Weather conditions will effect your tv,regardless covered or not. Get ready for lot's of service calls. I suggest you to build case just let screen exposed. You will have better chance hopefully. Good luck.

Bought this for my office, for late-night TV viewing without waking up the kids. I ran the vegetable video, and mine has very minimal blooming. I compared it with my other two (much more expensive) TVs, and I don't see any differences in blooming worth mentioning. Certainly, nothing like the other guy's posted photos. I did tweak a few settings on the U6GR5: turned the brightness to normal, changed to color balance a bit to get rid of a bit of the green, and changed the contrast a little. The colors are good and the blacks too. I'm pretty happy with it. I have a fancy color calibrator that I use on all my TVs and monitors to make sure they look as good as possible. I haven't run it on this TV yet, but I'm not sure I even need to, since it looks good enough as-is.

I just picked one up on Monday, the 90 day return policy made me feel more comfortable doing so. After having the TV a couple days, I don't have any desire to return it. Picture quality (from my very unprofessional opinion) is beautiful and colors seem punchy but realistic after some calibration. I have some hesitation around the brand and was hoping for 120hz, but this tv checked all the other boxes at a great price and so far so good.

Seems like 3 different people on here now saying this Costco one isn't good. I just cancelled my Costco order and bought the best buy U6G. I had $55 in rewards to use anyway, plus the 6% in rewards for using my best buy card it ended up being cheaper. Available for pickup tonight vs waiting until Dec 1st. Win win situation. 😂

Going to try this one. I have had bad luck with both Vizio & LG crapping out on me right after warranty was up. It will be a secondary tv. If bad, will return and see what deals will be had for the super bowl stretch of sales.

I am going to return this as it doesn't have IPS display. You need to watch straight otherwise the video is blurry

Looks like a good deal for Quantum LED TV. It did not add the extra All state warranty in the Cart but it does come with 3 year Manufacturer warranty. I grabbed one anyways.

U6G is Android TV.
U6GR is Roku + a few other features.

It would be really silly if the only issue is that these TV's default to some sort of torch mode (which is pretty common) and all the complainers simply didn't bother to configure the TV properly. That's why I've been asking about the settings.
