Here's the way to think of the Roborock lineup. They are all great vacuums:
E2/E3/S4/S5/S6 - All older models to be avoided unless it's an amazing deal.
E4 / E5 - Very similar vacuums. Excellent bargain choice for a small home (or floor of a home) where you just want it to vacuum the entire place on a schedule every time. No LIDAR navigation. No mapping of rooms. No partial vacuuming. The E4 came out before the current Roborock app was released, so it uses an older app. The E5 uses the newer app where you can see where your robot is.
S4Max / S6 Pure - Very similar vacuums. Sophisticated LIDAR navigation, rooms, zones, levels, no-go zones. The S4Max is vacuum only and really the best model for most people. The S6 Pure adds a very basic mopping feature (the mop is either on or off: Attach the reservoir and it wipes your floor with water.)
S5 Max / S6 MaxV - Very similar vacuums. Choose the S5 Max if mopping is important to you. These models have an electronic water tank for mapping out smarter mopping/no-mopping zones. (The S6 MaxV adds obstacle avoidance cameras that theoretically will steer around dog poop. Not worth the price.)
S7 - Newest model that vibrates while it mops, to theoretically clean better. Also has an expensive self-emptying option.
Roborock makes great products. I recommend S4 Max for most people, S5 Max for those who insist they want mopping.
And this is a great deal.
Since my purchase I've watched several other robovac owners show off their machines and none of them come close to efficiency or cleaning power of my S5 Max. It's a beast of a robovac at this price!

I bought it refurbished on eBay solely for the vacuum portion (which is excellent and efficient) and didn't think I'd use the mop much at all given those limitations. Nonetheless, I have been quite pleasantly surprised by how well the mop works under those circumstances. Is it as good as a manual mop, soap and bucket? Not at all. But for a floor that needs a good once over with a wet mop and not a full cleaning, it works rather nicely. (For reference, I am using both vacuum and mop on hardwood floors with a good bit of stomped on dirt scattered around thanks to the two little ones who think Peppa Pig is living the high life by jumping in muddy puddles.)
The thing with Roborock and a lot of other good brands robot vacuum that originated from China is that typical Chinese household uses mainly hard floor and almost no one uses carpeted floor, so a lot of their robots tend to be designed to clean houses with hard floors and may seem like part of the functionality doesn't make a lot of sense when using them in carpeted houses. But also because of this the Chinese brands seem to have all the best mopping robots in the market right now, while iRobot etc. seem to really falling behind in that regards, since iRobot mainly target the US market.
I agree

Also if I don't care about the mopping feature.would there be a better option for price/performance?
