This is for the purchase of Happy Cards in egiftcard format. It functions in a way different from the plastic Happy Cards. The plastic Happy Cards are basically prepaid credit card. With the current Happy eGiftcards, you will receive a redemption code and PIN from Happy Cards instead of the gift card directly. With the codes, you have the credit amount for redemption of merchant gift card(s) on the list up to the total value. Once redeemed, you will then receive the egift card of the selected specific merchant and you can use that for purchase in store or online for that merchant only.
With the plastic card, you are advised to keep the empty card after use in case of merchandize return. Some vendor may refund you in cash or store credit though. With the store egift card redeemed from Happy Card egift certificate, it is basically the same as the store gift card. You will receive store credit/gift card for returned merchandise.

This does seem to work once per card category, not once per customer. So, you likely get up to 7x $7.50 code if you get one of each.
The $7.50 promo code also does seem to stack if you apply more than one per order.

I think some of them can be used online. However, because they are treated like credit cards, there's no way to split payment and it's nearly impossible to spend the full value.

Yes, you can get multiple promo $7.50 codes. I bought two different card types (happy you and happy holidays), and received 2 different promo codes. Both promo codes may be stacked on a single order for $15 off, etc.

The Promo code does not work on other items purchased on Amazon. It does not say what are the 'qualifying' items. Not as advertised or implied. Is this a joint scam by Amazon?ACI Gifts?

There should be 12 digit promo code in that email.
Just add an item shipped and Sold by Amazon (no 3rd Part sellers) to your shopping cart.
Proceed to Checkout.
Enter that 12 digit code into the 'Gift Card or Promo code' box under 'Payments'.
You should see the $7.50 discount applied as "OC BDAY Credit -$7.50"

At this point you can back out and cancel the transaction but now that code will automatically load the next time you have a "Qualifying Item" in your cart.

AFAIK, almost all retailers have stopped allowing you to use their gift cards to purchase other gift cards.
Except Amazon....

That guy talking about doing it earlier in this thread had a physical plastic Happy card, which is essentially a Visa card.

I can report that I this promotion seems to work ONCE PER CARD TYPE. I placed 3 orders with 3 different card types.

- Happy Holidays Gift Cards - Email Delivery... Got my $7.50 promo code via email 3 hours ago.
- Happy Holidays Dining Gift Cards - Email Delivery... Got another $7.50 promo code via email 5 minutes ago.
- Happy Bride Gift Card $50... I am still waiting on this one to be delivered physically to me today, so I imagine that I will get a $7.50 promo code about 24 hours after it is delivered.

These orders were all placed with the same Amazon account and same delivery address name and location.

Also, since I had two codes, I can confirm that they can be stacked to be used in the same order ($7.50x2 = $15 discount off one item).

I have placed 4 more orders for the 4 other cards, so I will update this as those promos come in.
