This gets asked in almost every Hue deal thread. Hue are just a way better product. Better quality, better reliability, better tech, etc. If Feit Smart was Ford, Hue is Ferrari.

This is a great deal on the 800 lumen bulbs. Figured these prices would drop for the holiday season with the release of the 1600 lumen bulbs

I use this in my house exterior soffit.

Lot of the light gets stuck in the cab itself I feel. The recessed ones are very exp but all their output would be outside the can itself.

They are dim when using outside or in a recessed can.

Best used in fixtures that allow light to leak in every direction (A19)


In future I want my outside of house to have brighter colors.
