Hi there, lovely people! November has proven to be a really awesome reading month so far, so in the interest of keeping up that streak as we enter the halfway point of the month, I have scoured Amazon and compiled a list of all the best-looking eBooks I found. Here's to discovering amazing free reads!
Acting With Energy by Murisa Harba
This one has immediately shot up to #1 spot in my TBR. Murisa Harba owns her own actors' studio in LA, where she teaches her own foolproof approach to acting based on chakras—and now, she unveils all in her book! Because this approach to acting is based on effectively tapping into our energy centres, it apparently impacts watchers on a physiological level every single time, allowing you to get super specific with the reaction you want to instil in your audience as you grow in your mastery of this method. Pretty incredible, right? A friend of mine who is in the performing arts recently read this and her review was glowing—and she even said that while it was super enlightening for her acting, it also was pretty eye-opening when it came to how she uses her chakras in her day-to-day life. I'm not especially interested in acting, but this method is so intriguing I feel compelled to read it anyway—and I have a feeling it's not going to disappoint!

Queen Series Boxset by Penelope Sky
Yep, you read that right—a boxset for free on Kindle! This series (of four!), according to the blurb, concerns a girl that is kidnapped as a punishment to her brother, who stole four million dollars from her kidnapper (oof!). Even when the brother sends back eight million dollars, his sister is not returned. Pretty eerie, right? I sense a binge-read coming on!

Summer in Sweetbriar Cove by Melody Grace
Summer in Sweetbriar Cove is comprised of not one, but two standalone novels! This is exactly the right kind of summer romance that is sure to brighten up these darkening November evenings. Meant To Be concerns a runaway bride, romance author, and a dark, brooding next-door neighbour; and All For You follows a bakery owner and a bookstore owner. Both are set in the glorious Cape Cod and sound so comforting and sweet! I'm so excited to get started on this one.

Little Girl Lost by Cheryl Bradshaw
To do a one-eighty from the previous quintessentially sweet read, Little Girl Lost sounds truly chilling and mind-bending. Gigi has been living in peace and off the grid when she receives the disturbing news that her brother-in-law has been found dead and her niece kidnapped. Rushing back to her hometown in light of this news, Gigi is about to unbury a whole lot of her demons. I have no idea where this plot is going to lead, but I'm ridiculously excited to find out!

Cottage on Oceanview Lane by Lilly Mirren
All the charming beach reads seem to be coming out of the woodwork this fall! Do you reckon we're all missing summer?! This book appears to follow three perspectives—a mother and presumably two daughters—after the mother discovers her husband's affair and a wealth of debt he has left behind, and is thus left with no choice but to call on her daughters—one an editor in one of the country's biggest publishing houses—to help with her café family business so she can get back on-track. I can imagine this book is going to feature a whole load of heart-pulling moments, and I'm so ready for it!
