As someone who has a pixel 6 Pro, I highly recommend just getting the 6. It's so much cheaper and the Pro has no features that are worth the pricetag over the non pro. If I could do it again, I'd get the pixel 6.

The phone is big on the hands and quite heavy. Be warned. You'll end up missing smaller phone size of 5.7to 6.2 inch screens

Nova launcher is immensely customizable, and I can't recommend it enough. You can move the stock Pixel launcher elements wherever you want, among MANY other options.

Waiting for Google Store to run this along with some sort of upgrade offer.
Good luck with that! Google never has any worthwhile trade-in deals....they just want to give you 42 dollars for a Google phone you bought 6 months ago!

There should be a gift card deal around this time offering $500 of GC for $450.
But then you lose any credit card warranty extension protection.

Pixel 5 and 5a were garbage. You'd be better off getting a 4 if you don't want to shell it 3 for the 6 right now
You are only person that I heard refer to the 5a as garbage which it certainly not. The pixel 5a is a good phone for it's $449 regular and a great phone a $399. It is a solid phone with a battery that last 2 days on a single charge depending on use. I brought a 5a for my mother and she likes it a lot although she had to get use to the extra weight due to it's large battery.

Yes. The Pixel 5 was a bit of a disappointment but it has it's fans too.

Tempered Glass screen protectors do not work with the Pixel 6 fingerprint reader. I had to take mine off and buy an Armorsuit brand TPU screen protector. It has worked flawless since.

Not the fastest fingerprint reader, but I can wait an extra 1/2 second to unlock. Supposedly, the speed is due to the extra security..

I came from a Samsung A71 5G and it's miles ahead of that on screen sensor. However, it is finicky at times and slow to register. 9 out of 10 times it opens quickly and without issue.
So I have been struggling with a S20 5g for about 9 months, and it came from the factory with a screen protector - the fingerprint recognition was generally crap.

I pre-ordered the Pixel 6, so I've been using it a couple of weeks with a TPU screen protector - yes, the fingerprint recognition can be a little slow sometimes, but overall I think it is noticeably more reliable than the S20.

Verizon mmwave is overrated. 1) you need a plan that covers it. If you're on the grandfathered unlimited plan, there is an extra cost for ultra wideband 5g and 2) mmwave (ultra wideband 5g) isn't practical for broad coverage. It works well in airports or stadiums, or parts of a city, but doesn't work even through fog or rain, or through buildings. So it's not going to be available nationwide. Ignore the fake maps Verizon shows, the coverage of mmwave 5g is very limited

My question is if 128gb is really enough. But only a few places sell the larger sized versions and who knows if they will have a decent sale soon and/or be in stock.
For those that own one, is 128gb plenty? I have Google 1 so I can offload photos and videos but I don't want to do that constantly.

It's the first time that I heard my gf said "It's so big! I don't like it".... when she saw the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro in person.

So, the Pixel 5a for $399, or the Pixel 6 for $549? Pros and cons anyone?
I have a Pixel 4a 5g and love the fingerprint reader at the back. Much better than using it on the front. The speakers are fantastic and the feel of the phone is magic! OTOH, the Pixel 6 has a inscreen reader, is bulky. If you are not a camera enthusiast and takes selfies in the restrooms and everywhere else, go for the Pixel 5a.

Pixel 3a XL and Pixel 5 had easy root, I'm currently having trouble rooting the Pixel 6, but I'm sure eventually easy mode will come out

How would a sub-par in/under-screen fingerprint reader work for you? Or do you want something that is fast and accurate 99+% of the time?

What does $150 extra bucks mean to you?

Do you like big phones?
