What's the catch if you're trying to use this with a pixel 6? Slower charging?

Sometimes these wireless chargers make the phone really hot. I don't know why it happens. Does the google one not do that?

Wireless charging does tend to produce more heat, that is why in the 2nd generation(23W) version has a fan. This one(10W) was quite physically fragile, and should be $10, or less, by now.

it works great with my Pixel 6 pro. I dont know the speed, just know i use it a night and when I wake up it is charged. The pixel 6 pro knows it is a google dock and can be configured to use it. great buy!

The wireless charging made my pixel 3 xl bulge and separate on the right side. I have it in a case so it's barely noticeable. For me the stand is still going strong after a number of years-definitely not fragile for me. I am waiting for the price to drop further to buy another.

Well they were known for breaking between the back, and the base, but if you're careful it should be okay. As soon as the new pixel charger is available they will be blowing these out for pennies on the dollar.

A bulging battery is not good. I'm surprised you continue to use the wireless charging in that case, because it could cause the battery to degrade, and potentially cause the battery to rupture.

It's not bulged much and can be squeezed shut. I mostly charge it overnight when the battery is nearly drained.

I would be concerned that a bulging battery could erupt into flames at any unknown moment.
