I got really excited thinking that this was the WiFi version. That's the Signal, and allows you to check the temp from anywhere so long as you're connected to WiFi.

How is the reception when you're inside and the smoker is outside?

I have never had an issue anywhere with reception. We have pretty thick walls too. I have more issues with wifi in my house.

That's actually pretty interesting. I wonder if the performance and info is comparable to the Signals once that's added.

EDIT: The Smoke Gateway (WiFi bridge) is $99. At that point, you may as well just go with the Signals and have an all-in-one. That would be my preference at least.

Inkbird needs to work on their app. No notifications unless the app is open is absurd. Then there are like three different ones on the app store.
