I purchased the dutch oven copper core! I've been waiting for it to go on sale here for over a year. Thank you.

For those who are unfamiliar with this website, it's identical all-clad pots and pans as sold in store but at a much cheaper price. This will be my third purchase on this website. My first two (a 12 inch fry pan and a 4-qt pot) were in excellent condition with no imperfections anywhere. I couldn't figure out what made them packaging damage / second-quality.

Haha, I have to point out the obvious flaws here. You pointed out the company was started in 1971, and these will last 100 years. So, how do you know that lol? If they do outlive us, that's great

All-Clad is the very best. It really will last practically forever. It's heavy, holds the heat well, and is just very well made.

You can buy a cheap one and be just fine. If you only use it occasionally, you're probably better off with an inexpensive one. But if it's something you use a lot and want to splurge, it's money well spent and a very good deal.

I think its more likely the water ingresses from where the rivets are driven through to mount the handle. With normal hand washing you don't have water being sprayed in every direction with tons of pressure like you do in a dish washer.

I've bought 6-8 pieces here. Never noticed even a slight blemish. D5 is much better than D3. I select CopperCore only for when precise control is important (sauce/skillet work). D3 is fine for stockpots. I stick them all in the DW when needed but D3 will get erosion at the exposed Al layer.

Bought a 10 piece D3 set from them last month labeled as damaged packaging. There wasn't a scratch or dent on the packaging, let alone the cookware.

I was worried about stuff sticking to stainless as I'd never had a good set before. So far I've not had any issues and I cook a wide range of things in these pans including notoriously sticky stuff. Haven't even needed Bar Keepers Friend. When you're done boil some water in the pan while you eat and the stuck-on stuff scrapes right off.

Is the processing time of 10-15 business days pretty accurate?

I don't see a chef's pan this time around. Sad.
Funny, I just bought a 12" one. First item listed.

Been waiting for this deal to come! Picked up my first All-Clad ..3qt Sauce and Suate Pan from the D5 brushed series.

Any thoughts on their non-stick pans of which we don't use all that often?
Checked on Williams Sonoma, many the reviews are really concerning. I was thinking of getting a nonstick, but the coating falling off after 1 year is a no go. All-Clad also considers it wear and tear and won't help. Rather than getting a cheaper pan than go Stainless Steel for a nonstick given its bad rep. There was a good deal on Macys for two All-Clad nonstick a couple of weeks ago, might be the better fit for that role. The multiclad pro from cuisnart have been a great stainless steel set, but looking for a 12 inch, but will try All-Clad.

That's hard anodized not D3/D5.

Should have been more clear I suppose.

The reviews for the non-stick is horrible, wow, i'm so surprised so many have the same experience and glad you pointed this out. Will consider the regular version at a later time, or as you said, stick to a cheaper non-stick pan or if that 2-pan sale comes back to pick up instead, thank you

Does anyone own a 5qt or 6qt saute pan? How do you like it? I have a 3qt copper core and want to get a bigger one from the sale, but not sure if it's too big or worth it…

I have some of their pans and love them. Any reviews of their bakeware? I see some on the site. I need to replace my set.

Yeah of course! Saw the Tramotina 12 inch stainless steel tri clad pan on another thread at home depot for $32. Gonna try that out, will keep you posted on how it works. yeah if you haven't tried stainless I would get one. A good set with proper care and use lasts a long time.

It's heavy and big and the long handle is hard to store.
