Searching historical threads, this is the lowest for a QHD gaming monitor. I'm curious why it's not getting enough love.

Anyone have thoughts on this one vs. the 32" curved VA from Dell? They're currently the same price and both include an eGift card. I'm leaning more towards this one because I like IPS and could pair it with a 27 inch monitor I already have (acer but still decent), but I'm just curious if anyone has other thoughts on these two.

hmm very true: https://www.trustpilot.com/review/gigabyte.com
But look at Dell: https://www.trustpilot.com/review/www.dell.com

Retailers score poorly on these complaint websites because only pissed consumers go there.

I have this monitor, it's great. This is about $50 off the release date promo price, which was already incredibly competitive. With USB 3.0 passthrough ports and 165hz, this is a great deal at this price range with these specs.

How is this 27" IPS monitor vs 34" Dell S3422DWG Curved (https://slickdeals.net/f/15369799-34-dell-s3422dwg-curved-144hz-3440x1440-gaming-monitor-450-sd-cashback-free-s-h?src=SiteSearch)? I have a 32" LG VA monitor for work but I want to have 1 gaming monitor used for both. Is 27" too small?

Do you know if the KVM feature works via a key combo or does it require pushing some menu button on the monitor itself to switch mouse + Keyboard between two PCs?
There's a discrete physical button on the back of the monitor itself that says "KVM", above the "combo hat switch" that's a directional + power button.
https://pcmonitors.info/wp-conten...Q-rear.jpg

Also, the KVM works through a USB-C port on the secondary device, and that device must support displayport alternate mode + data, although it doesn't also need to charge... I don't believe the monitor's USB-C port supports simultaneous charge...

The mouse/keyboard/peripherals you use must be connected to the monitor's USB port hub for the monitor to do the KVM switch process.

In the primary mode, the monitor's USB hub (could be external drive + thumb drive, for example, or most likely keyboard + mouse) is forwarded through the usb3 cable to your primary PC, and it uses the display connection from your main HDMI/Displayport connection.

In the secondary mode, after hitting the KVM button, the monitor's USB hub is forwarded through the USB-C cable of your secondary device, and uses the display connection from the same USB-C as the display connection from your secondary device.

Same. And this is by no means scientific, but look at these images of light bleed on the Best Buy reviews. Now, I'm not saying all monitors are perfect, but it seems like a consistent problem on the Gigabyte. And even if it happened on the Dell monitor, I trust Dell to make it right within the warranty period over Gigabyte.

https://www.bestbuy.com/site/giga...Id=6438287
Many of those images are not light bleed but IPS glow and it happens on every IPS panel to a degree. Dell may not consider it a warranty issue at all.

Regarding the AMEX offer ($120 credit on $599 or more purchase), it says one or more purchases... that means I can have multiple orders and once my charges add up to $599 or more, they would credit $120 to the card?

Same, I'm conflicted and wondering if it will be cheaper starting on black friday. I don't know but I would definitely prefer a lower price versus a gift card I'm not going to use.

How were you able pull that off? I have Amex Platinum. Don't really need a monitor but would jump on this if I can replicate it.

TIA

This is one of the best monitors for the Series S|X that can take advantage of 120fps and Freesync at QHD
