FYI - Eddie Bauer no longer has a lifetime warranty. Everything looks to be only a year now.

I bought this last year and didn't like it at all. The fit ended up being rather baggy and it was VERY thin. Just be aware when you buy this that you're buying basically a shell, not like a winter coat.

And yes—it did smell very bad.

Tall sizes also $39.99! And I had $10 rewards to use too.

Great deal, thanks!

Free shipping is over. Dead for me if I have to pay 25% of the purchase price for shipping.

I got order confirmation over a week ago, but still "processing" and hasn't shipped. On the product page, it's now saying orders will ship by 1/07. Some BS. When I ordered, said it would ship by 11/19.

Washed on gentle cycle. Then used several dryer balls and ran my dryer on low for multiple cycles. The feather clumps never de-clumped. It just remained compacted in a clump within each segregated, rectangular section.

Also, nothing helped to eliminate the smell. Just my experience. It's a shame. The jacket looked was promising before washing. Glad I washed it prior to use. Else, I might have been stuck with a jacket that does what it should only before washing.
Were u able to return it?
I called the store n they said if I washed it, I couldn't return it, even if I think it smells bad:-/
Just received My jacket and smells really bad in most areas. I was thinking to wash n dry a few times wondering if was able to return after washing...

I got an email a few minutes ago letting me know they were unable to fulfill my order and were canceling it. Of course, it is still available to order on their website...but at a higher price. *sigh*

I see a pending charge on my credit card today. Does it mean that it is about to be shipped?

I'm in the same boat. Still says order is processing. OTOH, if I try to buy this jacket today, it shows a ship date of 1/30... So looks like they are really backed up like sewage systems pre Roman era.
