Also, for the inevitable, "Can I buy this on PS4 and play it when I get a PS5?" Yes, and you get a free PS5 upgrade. If you're one of the people who downloaded FF7 when it was a PS+ game, you will not get that free upgrade. You have to actually buy the game.
Update: I should have also mentioned that there is zero reason to get the PS5 version, over the PS4. Since you get a free upgrade anyways, why get the more expensive game that can only be played on one system, when you can get the cheaper one and play it on two systems? Then you have the option of reselling it to someone who might not have a PS5.

This was one of the rare games that was pretty much perfect on launch.
I bought it on ps4 digitally for $30 early this year and enjoy everything that the game is on ps5 - just missing the Yuffie content which i might splurge for if I need more of the game when I finish it
