Build quality is meh at best. I would not put an expensive tv on this. The assembly process was a giant pain in the rear end. Had to get additional screws from a hardware store.

Yup, there are a bunch of comparable options around same price. Some of them not even 'on sale'. Not even convinced this is a slickdeal

I agree that $535 is a joke, but where are you seeing comparable wood stands for under $200? Most decent looking ones are in the $300 range.

So when it says 80lbs max on the table, I'm guessing a 100lbs 85" tv would be risky ?

It's wide enough for a 65" tv. So putting an 85" tv on it is inadvisable.

Don't do it! The spec is strange. I can stand on top of my current TV stands with my little boys no problem that are holding 75" and 60" TVs. This 80 lbs limit makes me think it's cheap shit.

Does anybody know what kind of payment method Wayfair takes ? I don't want to apply for their CC.
Wayfair must take American Express because I have a "Spend $125, Get $25 back" offer on my Blue Cash card.

And I see 5% CB offer on my B of A Visa.

Lorraine TV Stand for TVs up to 60"

I bought this for $149, super easy to assemble. All you need is a good flat head screwdriver. Solid as a rock, weighs 99 lbs.

The one-star reviews on that are alarming, to say the least...

Yes. Always look at the negative reviews. Pictures are especially concerning.

If they don't honor their own warranty, they're definitely not going to pay for your expensive TV if it breaks because this thing falls apart.

Most are MDF. Cheap to manufacture and will not last through more than maybe one move. If you need something now and aren't worried about quality or longevity, then I suppose there are worse options out there.

Thank you for taking the time to reply, especially ( nicely ) ! I sometimes think some people live such miserable existences they go out of their way to be a jerk. I guess I was raised differently, if they don't have something nice to say then keep it to themselves and move along. Thanks again, that's good to know, I'll check my Amex card. Have a good weekend !
