These TVs are a train wreck software wise. Definitely do some research before you consider buying a Vizio!

I have a 2015 Vizio M Series that has never had an issue. Actually upgraded to a Hisense U8G and I'm returning the Hisense since it isn't really doing enough to justify it's existence in my living room compared to the Vizio.

Also, just FYI, for anyone looking at this TV model, the picture is very nice, but the viewing angles are insanely bad. Don't buy this for anything but head on viewing or you may regret it, AKA no fireplace mounting, no large living room with multiple off angle seats, etc.

I've been watching this for the 65 and 70 models and these are the prices I was gonna definitely buy at. But as stated, I've heard of software nightmares and ended up going with the tcl r646.

The U8G is light years ahead of any Vizio TV from 2015 in every single aspect.

As somebody who owns both things that we're talking about this equation I'm not really sure how you could influence my opinion with that general comment

The real question is, Why TF does no one have the 65" tv in stock. I only see it at club sites.

The 55" Vizio is currently cheaper at Target.

That 55" at Target is the M6-Series that has a lot less features and is a step down from the M7-Series in this thread. For only $30 more this M7 is a much better buy.

It's not supposed to change your opinion. It was intended to point out that you may not be the most knowledgable TV user if you can't spot the massive difference between a 2015 low-end Vizio and one of the better mid-range TVs of 2021. HDR brightness, motion handling, the smart interface, color gamut - the U8G does virtually everything better than the 2015 M series by a significant margin.

You would be mistaken but I'll leave it at that since this is going nowhere

Bought an M series from Costco last season and it has been great. It was more than $100 cheaper, which is significant. That said, the price isn't bad. It's just not amazing.

Would you guys recommend this Vizio or the Samsung TU7000? They're about the same price and I'm looking for around 60".

Just for watching tv in the bedroom, no gaming.

Seems to be THIS M7 is much better than the Tu7000.

This TV is becoming tempting to me now that I look at it. 58" vs 65" is big but not something that's a deal breaker for me. I may still buy the U7G Hisense though.

The Vizio brand isn't too shabby. I'm about to replace the one Ive had for 15 years. But yeah... so far reviews have shown LG and Samsung are killing it in QLED and OLED tvs... but these prices are tempting lol
