Hisense u6gr5 is a great tv for contrast between bright white and dark blacks. For better colors samsung/sony/lg processors are praised. But you wont notice it unless you have two tvs side by side to compare. Buy warranty for sure, I got burned trusting a sony as it stopped working after 18 months.

Considering this over the U6GR5 for $450 from Costco. Initially i thought the U6GR5 was Costco's version of the U6G that is very highly rated (for the price) at rtings. Which would make the purchase a no-brainer. it turns out it's likely a completely different panel and doesn't quite have the image quality as the U6G.
Anyone have any input on this vs the U6GR5?

The U6GR5 has a three year warranty; this has a one year warranty.

For some bizarre reason, the U6GR has HDMI 2.1 and VRR and a slightly better panel than the U6G normal. Idk why they chose Costco out of all places
