Still available from Google Store with Netflix bundle for about $5 (+ tax) after Netflix cashback discount. ($89.99 - $83.94). Works with new or existing Netflix customers.

https://store.google.com/config/c...g&hl=en-US

EDIT: What the heck, for $5 I'll add another. Limit 3.

I've been happy with the 2 that I have. The only thing I don't love is the amount of space. I have 8 apps (Netflix, YTTV, etc) and it doesn't have the space for a 9th one. It's not a huge deal because I really only need 8 and am aware of workarounds. One thing I would recommend is buying a 2nd remote and pairing it to that Chromecast. The wife likes having her own remote. I have this attached to a LG C1 OLED and the picture is as good as when I've used the LG Apps, Roku Ultra, and last generation Shield.

For those that qualify, the Sling free Chromecast deal is more slick if that's still live. Coupled with cash back from another R site, net cost was $20 for me.

These devices are great. I have 5 of them. Two of my TV are smart TVs (Samsung and Sony) however I use the Google TV devices instead as the usability and responsiveness is so much better.

I really like CC+GTV, but just replaced it in the living room with a Tivo Stream I found at Walmart for $13. Seems snappier, remote is better, 'Guide' is a pretty cool feature, usb-c port on the side so you don't need some powered dongle for expansion, maybe other stuff I'm forgetting.

I just hooked up mine to generic USB c docking thing. Hooked up a webcam and installed Duo. Works! Needed a beefier power supply.

Yes this is 4K with Dolby Vision and Atmos. Works MUCH better than any of the 5 Rokus I own.

If you get one, don't forget you can program each button on the remote for any peripheral. I have it control my KEF LSX which i didn't think would work! Best device for any TV. Now if i could only add some weight to that remote! It a slippery sucker

These are both good devices. I would probably go with the Firestick. They are the most common android based device on the market and offer almost all the flexibility that the Google device offers. I personally use the Firesticks. I have multiple 4K 2018 in service and I am very happy with them. I will be buying the new Max.
