Unlike with the "Alexa Voice Deal" promo, the trade in works on this since the actual price is reduced to $59.99.

Just ordered an Echo 4 for $44.99 (25% trade in discount I submitted a few weeks back).

Plus the $25 Amazon trade in gift card they gave me for my Echo 1 (which I got on Woot 2 years ago for $20) the net price was only $20ish.

Seems like a good deal. I may wait for BF/CM deals though. Haven't really kept up with the prices on the full sized Echo but i assume there's a decent chance that there will be a better deal on BF/CM.

The bonus would be to snag one of these using a coupon. BB&B says no. Anyone find a coupon that works at any of the above places?

With amazon you can trade in an old echo and get an additional 25% off. It's a slower process though as you only get the 25% after the appraisal is done.

Last time someone mentioned this, it was said that they give you the discount up-front and give you so many days/months to send the item in. Maybe it's recently changed.

The gen 3s went as low as $5 before the gen 4s came out. Never say never.

Still have 2 of these from khols awhile back when it was 2 for $80, sitting in the box since I'm currently only using the echo show 5 lol.

Mental note to self; stop giving away old devices. I want one of these as a present but i don't have any devices to trade since i gave away all my 2nd gen Dots. :/

Would be a nice deal with 25% off with trade in, plus another 10% off for using Amazon Prime card.

I am hearing mixed reviews regarding the lack of 360 compared to the other models and voice pickup. Anyone have this and can chime in on how good (or bad it is) compared to previous generations including Gen 1 which I'm considering trading for $25?

I've read the same thing. My Gen 4 is coming today and I'm going to give it a compare (same space, right next to my Gen 1).

The Gen 1's are a steal if you can get them on Woot for $20. I've had a few duds and dead-on-arrival units but all were sorted out quickly. If the Gen 4 I'm getting today doesn't sound as good I may load up on a few more Gen 1's but I'm expecting some time soon those will go end of life or begin to lose features.
