I have no problem getting 6+ months out of mine, running over a year on a couple that aren't in a high traffic area. Although I do agree that the subscription stinks, I was lucky to get grandfathered in by signing up a few years ago, so if you're looking for free monitoring then Eufy is probably the way to go. I do love my Blinks and they work well for me, but probably wouldn't pay for a subscription on them.

To view live video it is $3 a camera or $10 for unlimited cameras, per month. Otherwise you can plug in a USB to the module and save clips/pics, which is free.
