I don't think it has any 2.5" Bay but it has another M.2 Slot and both of the slots are upgradable. Normally in Gaming Laptops, you don't often see soldered storage.

A lot of times even the manufacturer's stated max ram is wrong and sometimes they even come out with higher rank ram that lets computers have more ram than they were designed to have. I would expect that it has the typical max ram for a laptop with the same processor as it since the ram controller is directly on the cpu nowadays. The one thing to look out for is soldered ram which would limit you.
edit - I googled it and this model supports 64gb

Dang. Can anyone confirm if this has Thunderbolt? With the other version of this with the 3050ti there was conflicting information, same with this one.

Edit: I bought one, worst case I return it. I had a little FOMO from the 3050ti deal , but for $120 less if it has Thunderbolt this is worth it. (The diff between the ti and non-ti is negligible enough) I'll use the 3050 the go and I'll buy an eGPU dock for home.

Normally when manufacturers quote max Ram size, that is basically the maximum size they sell that model with. Actual supported Ram is decided by the CPU in use and the number of available memory slots. All the 11th Gen H series Processors, including this one, supports up to 128GB of Ram. This Laptop has two slots, so you can go 64GB using two 32GB sticks, which is the maximum DDR4 module available right now. If somebody comes up with 64GB module, believe me, it will support 128GB, using two 64GB stick.

No Thunderbolt on this model. It is USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C 0 Gbps with DP 1.4.
