It's all relative - we own two Dyson vacuums and they're great. You pay a premium for overengineering.

Both a $2000 TV and a $200 TV will play the game, but one is better.

A first class ticket and a coach ticket will both get you there, but one is better.

My wife is the farthest thing from being materialistic. But I got this for her as a gift and she absolutely loves it. She can't believe how much less damaged her hair is than it used to be. So while it's certainly expensive, I wouldn't consider wanting healthy hair as materialistic. This thing truly works.

Placed an order for an Airwrap for store pick up in Los Angeles. Tried to PM to Dyson but they kept giving different excuses: 1) it's a special members deal, 2) airwrap is excluded from PM, 3) 20% off for dyson owners does not apply to airwrap.

Would've been better through Dyson as they throw in a few items, but BB will do.

I didn't say this was a garbage product, I said it was a "garbage sale."

This is one of the lowest bang-for-buck items I can think of. It's just laughable to think people fall for the gimmick of this engineered design and pay thru the nose for something so simple that blows heated air not in any more of a material manner than a $15 blow dryer would.

Look at the tear down video to really see what the motor looks like beyond the 'space age' plastic material design.
