It's all relative - we own two Dyson vacuums and they're great. You pay a premium for overengineering.

Both a $2000 TV and a $200 TV will play the game, but one is better.

A first class ticket and a coach ticket will both get you there, but one is better.

My wife is the farthest thing from being materialistic. But I got this for her as a gift and she absolutely loves it. She can't believe how much less damaged her hair is than it used to be. So while it's certainly expensive, I wouldn't consider wanting healthy hair as materialistic. This thing truly works.

I bought one for my wife and my mother and they love it. She says it doesn't make that burn hair smell and reduces the depth time by almost half. Also that it keeps her hair looking healthier in between washes.

Spendy indeed, but it is an awesome hairdryer. Absolutely love it! Futuristic look too. Probably wouldn't buy again for the price to value, but I don't regret the purchase.

Every person is different but if my husband spent $400 on a hairdryer for me for xmas, I'd cry. Bad tears.
You can buy a whole lot of stuff I'd much rather have for $400.

Meh I bought this last year during Sephora VIB sale and returned it. Nothing special with this hair dryer, I tested it side by side with my $20 con air dryer and it probably just dried my hair like 5 mins faster lol but no difference in hair texture, sheen etc. I own 2 Dyson vacuums and I love them btw. Now the hair wrap is what I want to try.

Almost pulled the trigger on the Dyson since the wife has been asking for one for a while now too but its hard to spend the kind of money Dyson wants for this sucker 😂. I scrolled down to similar products and found the Shark Hyperair which looks like a knockoff Dyson. Looks like reviews comparing it to the Dyson say that its just as good plus it has a hair curler attachment thing that i think the wife will like. Wish me luck these holidays fellas theres allot riding on the shark.

Bought the special edition for my wife two weeks ago at BB.
That is a steep discount on such price.

We hemmed and hawed about buying this for Christmas a few times and finally bought one last year. My wife & daughter both love it. It takes them 50% less time to dry their hair. We can now maybe be on time for family eventsSmilie
