Samsung EPP prices (no trade-in):

i5 Flex2a $540
i7 Flex2a $720

360 prices are more expensive at EPP. FYI.

Best Buy dropped the price in response to Samsung promotion. Samsung had $300 off and $200 Samsung credit for top model. Best Buy offered $500 off to match.

If you are planning to buy another Samsung item and can use cashback from urlhasbeenblocked or other, you might get a little better deal direct with Shop Samsung. Otherwise, Samsung has shipping time of a few weeks while Best Buy is ready to pick up.

Keep in mind the Flex2 Alpha models DO NOT have Thunderbolt3/4 and NO USB-C charging. Such an odd choice to gate people into the Galaxy 360s I suppose.

it's kind of silly how samsung.com doesn't just drop the price $200, not everyone wants the accessories

Does someone think that Samsung will drop a better offer for Black Friday?

Thanks OP for this post! I'm in the market for a small-and-light laptop, and the Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360 13" seems to be exactly what I'm looking for.

I was almost on my way to Best Buy to check it out in person, but after checking the reviews (in particular this one [notebookcheck.net]), I am reconsidering. I'd appreciate having a 2-in-1 in a small and light form factor, but it looks like this laptop is only average in most respects. That's not a bad thing, but if I'm paying a premium price, I kinda want more than just average.

But if the specs work for you, this seems like a great deal on this particular model.

I have a 13 inch GB Pro 360 i7/16/512gb in the Mystic Blue color. I might not be the best person to give an opinion on this because prior to upgrading, I was still using my 2015 MacBook Pro and I'm not a computer expert.

That being said, at $900 I would honestly pass on it. I only kept because I got some crazy deal on it and I can't figure out how the price came out so low buying it directly from Samsung, but I ended up paying a total of $630 including taxes (so about $580 pre-tax for my state) and got a free pair of Galaxy Buds Pro included as well.

This was with EDU after 10% cash back, 10% cancel trick via customer service, and additional 2.5% cash back with Gpay.

The screen looks amazing but has a ton of glare. Like, while using it in a well lit room, it's almost like looking in a mirror the whole time. That's my biggest complaint with it and I'm looking around to see if there is any kind of screen protector I can get to help with the glare without sacrificing the quality of the screen.

My only other complaint is that the Mystic Blue color is a fingerprint magnet like nothing I've ever seen before. Seriously, after like the first hour of use, the keyboard and body of the laptop were already caked in fingerprints and it's really noticeable. I even made sure to wash and dry my hands right before using it for the first time and that didn't help at all.

I just use it mostly for web surfing, content consumption, and plan on using it for some gaming with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, so I'm not a power user or anything. The form factor is great and I find myself using the S-Pen often instead of the trackpad. It really is incredibly thin and light, and you can tell that performance wise, it's a high end laptop, but for what the MSRP is, they really could have done better.

Its also worth mentioning that the integration with other Samsung products like the Galaxy Buds and S21 is really convenient as well so these Galaxy Books are probably best for those who already have other Samsung products. If I paid $900 plus tax for it though I would have returned it.

I just bought the GBP non-360 from Costco for $999, now this.

The 360 is heavier and lacks USB-A and HDMI and the Costco one has a 4yr warranty with Citi.

Damnit.

Thank you, this really helps me to make my decision. For $630, I think I would jump on it despite the compromises you mention, but at $900 I think I should keep looking.

Is this the best laptop out for everybody? Certainly not. But if you're a niche user like myself, it's the perfect laptop.

If you rock a Samsung phone (note 20 ultra), Samsung tablet (s7), are looking for a portable device with the keyboard hinged to the screen (unlike the microsoft surface with freely swinging/detachable keyboard), and focus on minor digital asset creation then this could be for you.

It pairs seamlessly to my phone. I can use tablet as second monitor on the go (which is awesome for programming). Able to do LIGHT work in Fusion 360, Blender, Affinity Designer, Unity3D. Most importantly I can access and edit all my samsung notes on it with the same S pen as my phone.

All my complex work I keep for my desktop obviously but often I can bring even a massive concept 75% of the way just on this thing. To me this is critical because when those creative juices are flowing you gotta act.

Screen glare sucks but I'll take it since stylus feels great on it. Fingerprints all over sucks too, but I got some vinyl on Ebay for cheap and wrapped it, looks cool af - no more finger prints & protects it if I decide to sell. USB C charging is dope - 1 charger for my entire to go kit.

If a better laptop exists for under $2k let me know. Previously used the HP spectre x360 (paid $2300) with the 1650GT in it. Made of sexy materials and more powerful but its heavy, runs hot, and not as interconnected to my devices.

EDIT: I have the i7 -15inch -16GB model

If you are okay with open box. It's $730 on my end, so you might want to check that. I Ended up getting it. Good deal. FYI open box items come with 1 year warranty and are returnable until January per Best Buy return policy

Now, that is an idea! There is an "Open-Box Excellent" nearby me for $738, so I might end up checking that one out tomorrow....

Just watched a ton of reviews on the 360.

Negatives from those were:
Poor sound
Significant keyboard flex
Cant click trackpad from top
1080p isnt "good enough"
Not bright enough for outdoors
Fan is annoying and kicks in for short bursts frequently
Keyboard keys are shallow

Not a bad list as far as things I care about. And these are people who based it off a much higher msrp.

The trackpad click and chasis flex are specific to the non 360 models and even more specifically the 15" model. I have not seen any reports of this on either 360 model or the 13" regular Pro model.
