Playing games, watching Twitch / Netflix, listening to music etc while I WFH . . . wondering if I'll be using these the way they're intended?
TIA

Dont need an amp and such either. But I listen to music with speakers mostly, and game with a headset for comm's.

Also have some Sony XM3's for work travel (awesome NFC).
Just wasn't sure if these would make music and movies that much more enjoyable. Ty, seems like a marginal improvement. Speakers are the ultimately convenience anyway lol

Man those Corsair's are so bad compared to these ones lol I gave them to my 8yo son the moment I grabbed a cheap topping dac amp and these ones from a drop sale a couple years ago . Hey sometimes you are better off not trying honest truth cause once do .. at least I didn't wanna go back to them and I was out 130 lol

Plugged into the good old ES-100, they're now my preferred on-the-go headphones.
I game too but not heavily.

If you care more for an open headphone where the sound leaks and you could hear the background. Prefer Soundstage with some decent bass then 2hr is for you. The headphone itself is more comfortable but they are heavier than the 58x. For me though, both of them provide a different experience that I enjoy when I'm listening to music. Sometimes you want the clarity, light bass, and sort of detail in music, you go for the 58x. But there's times you like to feel the surround sound effect from the soundstage giving you the directional effect for your music, you choose the other. I have both and like them for what they do and when I prefer to use them. For the music you asked about, both would be good. The 2hr is better for gaming because of the soundstage. An amp would make both better too.
