Please don't be mad if you are not able to take advantage as I am just trying to help out anyone who can take advantage. The Microcenter at Brooklyn has the 12700k for $299.99 obvious price mistake. It is the price on their website and when you check out. (Had a friend go buy and get me one the price rung up as $299.99 +tax)

It's really difficult for Intel to sell them there's just no cheap motherboard even if you do ddr4 there's just no cheap motherboard with all the options that you need to make it worthwhile
