Many reviewers mentioned that there were improvements, but not greatly noticeable from M3. They usually say you should wait for M5 if you have M3 already.

I have a very cheapo noise cancelling headphones so this is a major upgrade for me. But watch this video, MKBHD mentioned a bit of differences between the two so you can decide to upgrade or not.
