We have one and these are great for kids and can keep my 5 year old daughter entertained for what feels like ages. We play a game where i give her just 1 tool to help her create a design and she loves the challenge. One day it is a spoon, the next a fork, etc.

Plus, kinetic san is WAY easier for clean up than slime! Some slime can ruin clothing, cause endless headaches for carpet and etc.
