Refurbs from Canon are fine. Had a dozen or so orders b/w lenses and bodies over the years. Zero issues.

SD community might be missing on a deal (because they wouldn't get notified due to low thumb ups or if the product is back in stock, etc). Btw, one of the camera bodies are still available.

I'm in Sony land now, but one cat said the difference is only in the LP filter. I don't know either camera, though.

Just google "camera low pass filter or no low pass filter ".
Do the same with "anti-aliasing filter" substituted.
There's endless reading on the subject.

The one with the filter will help with Moiré, basically. All depends on what you want to do with the camera and how big you will be viewing/using the final image.

Canon has staked their future high end cameras on the mirrorless R-system and, in particular, the RF lenses that take advantage of this new geometry. That doesn't make the old EF system any less good. It just makes it a legacy system incompatible with new lenses being developed. I have well over $10K invested in my EF system, and would probably represent the ideal market for one of these 5DSr refurbs, but even I would rather just hold off and get an R5 (or the new R1 whenever it arrives).
