It's dry clean only, which means it's dirty. Mitch Hedberg

is this going to leak feathers all over like someone murdered 30 pigeons in your bedroom?

Put a duvet cover on it and machine wash the cover. Also will prevent feathers from poking you.

What's the fill? Machine washable?

Note
Cleaning Recommendation: Dry Clean Only
I recently got their pillows that were on sale at Costco and I know down is hard to dry, but I threw the pillows in the washer when I took them out of the package and they took about 5 consecutive one hour cycles each in the dryer to get fully dry. I was surprised. I can't imagine trying to dry a comforter.

In the pic of it on the bed it looks thick, but in the second pic of it folded up it looks thin. I've always wanted one of these down comforters ever since I slept under one at a friend's house. But prices are too high, and I don't want to pay $50 for a crappy thin one.

That's why they say to dry clean I would guess.

I have their pillows. Too soft for me and the feathers poke sometimes

I thought down needing to be dry cleaned was wrong (but common) practice. At least that's the case with jackets where i believe dry cleaning actually ruins the feathers. Does that not apply to down comforters?

Price seems very good. But care instructions says 'dry clean only'. I don't want to spend multiple times the price over the years on cleaning than what I paid to purchase it. Will pass.

Seems like a good price. Anybody has one can comment on the quality?
I own this one https://www.costco.com/hotel-gran...03882.html and I love it. The only difference I see the thread count is 250 lower and $50 cheaper

I have had this for about two years. Got it to replace a heavy very expensive down comforter that was too hot for Southern winters. This one is warm enough but not sweat inducing. I leave it on all year now. Filling does not come out and it stays fluffy.

Buy a real pricey one. Then you won't need to spend multiple times the price.

You're not suppose to dry clean down comforters. Or down anything for that matter.

I searched here but didn't see it. However, I think they were in a coupon book or some other sales flyer from a month or two ago. They will probably go on sale again soon if it's a product Costco continues to carry.

Yeah, I was surprised, too, how densely packed the pillows are. They certainly didn't skimp on material. However, I see that they also sell just "down" pillows (as opposed to the "down and feathers" pillows I got). Maybe they are cram-packed full of feathers. That might explain why they take so long to dry.

Probably blike 99.7% feather, 0.03% down that they couldn't get out of the feathers after multiple filters. Still great price and Costco's stuff is usually better than average, especially for the price.
