The CEC on these only turn the TV on and off. Volume will not control the actual TV volume so you have to set it high. Mine also turns into Chinese a few times.

Go with the tivo4k. It picks up the tv controls almost instantly. Volume always works no matter which tv I plug it into.(I travel with mine too)

The remote on this thing doesn't work with a lot of TVs so you'd be using multiple remotes. The Onn box is awesome and the remote is also awesome. No reason to buy this

avoid it, if you can. There are issues with the box. it wakes up on its own and wakes up TV or
any device connected to it via cec. The support is not existent. The bugs introduced 7 months back are still not fixed.

anyone know what the difference between ONN stick version versus the box version? I got the ONN to see if it was better than the xiaomi mi box, and it was much more snappier and just overall a better experience than the xiaomi mi box.

Does the rebranded ONN box also have that spyware on it?

I want to install Brave browser on it, but cant find the APK, I need it because with Brave I can watch YouTube without ads, I do that on my phone all the time (listen to youtube with even the screen off as well).

SmartTubeNext is much better than using a browser, one of greatest thing ever, adblock and sponsorblock all in one.
