About this item:
Compact size reduces user fatigue
Fuel gauge displays power level on the job
3x more runtime compared to the 1.5 Ah Lithium-ion battery (R870015)
100% Compatible: works with all RIDGID 18V batteries, tools, and chargers
The inflator includes a 12V lead to use your car's battery. I leave mine in the car all the time but live where temperatures make for battery hell half the year so I don't leave a battery in it, rather I leave the 12v lead with it.
I thought batteries were only covered by LSA when sold with a charger or tool. Did something change?
Mine went flawlessly, no issues they sent my replacement battery quickly and asked me to drop off my bad battery at home Depot battery recycling center.
They did attempt a few troubleshooting steps, but TBH I'd expect that from any company.

I was thinking about buying their portable tire inflator. Anyone know how long the
charge would last with these batteries just sitting in the truck of my car?

These will work fine with your Rigid pump but I would store your batteries according to their required storage tempreture.
