Phenomenal deal. I am so glad I held off on the 2 for $99!

Is it pretty clear how to get these registered for the LSA when bought from DTO?
Yes, very easy. If you need their direct email send me a message.

Interesting there is LSA even though it's a bare battery.

Done it a couple of times. I emailed and registered my Rigid tools/battery directly to them.

I thought batteries were only covered by LSA when sold with a charger or tool. Did something change?

This is a great deal, especially if you order more than 1 set because the shipping price was the same with 2 sets.

I've got drill batteries way cheaper than $25 a piece before (craftsman, Kobalt, Porter Cable), but not 4AH ones and certainly zero with the LSA. This is a great way for Rigid to rope me into more of their tool line outside my Rigid brushless drill.

Ridgid has some great tools, the 1/2" high torque impact is a class leader and pops up regularly for ~$150 on here.

Read through the comments on the 2 for $99 deal at home depot. People are saying that they changed their policy.

hi all

I was thinking about buying their portable tire inflator. Anyone know how long the
charge would last with these batteries just sitting in the truck of my car?
The inflator includes a 12V lead to use your car's battery. I leave mine in the car all the time but live where temperatures make for battery hell half the year so I don't leave a battery in it, rather I leave the 12v lead with it.

I bought this last week. We'll worth it. I would think it would last a couple months not being used.

The 4Ah battery is a Lithum ion battery which is going to last a very long time. I had a lithium ion battery jump starter in my trunk. I check it every 3 months and I want to say it has been a year and it is still fully charged.

Couldn't refuse at this price. Didn't buy the $99 deal. I'm living ridgid warranty so far. Just wish they'd have ryobi number of tools to buy!

When I went to register these from the $99 deal, the online portal said not eligible. Chatted CS and they confirmed to just proceed and will work fine. They showed up with LSA after the normal review.

Is this battery compatible with all Ridgid battery chargers? I've got one from a drill combo from about 6 years ago, charger model # 140189001. It has been used with my Ridgid 18V 1.5AH Li-on batteries.
