They did attempt a few troubleshooting steps, but TBH I'd expect that from any company.
I have trying to learn this also. I think it depends on expectations and requirements. Their is a vid comparing the high end Octane impact wrench with the Max Output Bats to Octane bats and their was about 5-10% performance loss in tq with MO. Cant remember exactly what size bats. I think 4ah to an Octane 3ah. The loss would probably be more with standard bats. My 3/8 non-octane impact wrench works great with standard 4ah bats as does the brushless drill. My Octane recip saw also works very well but dont have any Max Output or Octane bats to compare.
I was thinking about buying their portable tire inflator. Anyone know how long the
charge would last with these batteries just sitting in the truck of my car?
